I like it. Awesome design. I like that you made the boba edges softer to give some texture to it.
I know what you mean with bobas... the first time I tried them I was in middle school, and hated it. I ended up shooting mine through my straw at my friends. I think it was partly because they didn't seem to have much taste.
Then it all changed. A year ago, my roommate and I got them with a meal, and not only did the texture not bug me, but it had taste this time!
Thank you! Originally, I was going to just do straight, hard edge circles, but when I was looking at images of the tea, I noticed that since they are submerged in a milky liquid, they kinda fade into view so that's why I did it that way.
LOL- you shot them at your friends????? AHAHAHA! That's totally awesome!
Thank you! Yeah, I tried it and...well...uh...I tried it. I like tapioca and will even eat the pudding with the little beads in it, but I think the tapioca balls in the tea were too big and so you could feel the rubbery/chewy/bit slimy texture which kinda creeped me out. I ended up straining the tea through my teeth so I could avoid the tapioca.
Thank you! I never noticed that, but it does have a bit of a retro feel to it! I like to have action in my pictures if I can. My original sketch had it sitting there flat on a table and then I decided to make it bouncy
Thank you! Everyone talks about how great it is, but I just can't do it. I ended up drinking the tea through my teeth to strain out the tapioca. I like tapioca pudding and I don't mind the little beads in that, but I think that the tapioca in the drink are too large and I then notice the chewy rubbery weird slimy texture. Bleh!
