Why the name Kimchi Kawaii? I'm a Korean who loves Japanese 'kawaii' style art.
Kimchi Kawaii was started over 10 years ago as a creative outlet for me to do the art I love. Initially, it was purely kawaii designs, but has since been branching out into other styles. Currently, I have these shops - Zazzle and Redbubble for my kawaii designs printed on various items and my own website for my hand crafted things. All can be found through my homepage.
** I'm sorry if I can't personally thank everyone who adds my art to their favorites! It's kind of hard to keep up when you work a full time job to pay the bills, but I'm totally grateful to everyone who stops by. So this is my big thank you ahead of time :)

Geez, it's been a while since I've been on here. What's been going on? Well, Kimchi Kawaii is still going strong and is now over 10 years old.
I've been growing the coffee cat themed line called Purrista Pawfee with more plush and designs.
Punny Buns, the bread based bunnies are still around as well.
I started a new series called the Kitty Amewsment Park. It's based off the 1950-60's era Disneyland attractions posters and it's been a fun series to work on.
I picked up an iPad a few years ago and have been working more on some digital painting.

Final Four! Punny Buns 2 Kickstarter

We're in the final 4 days of funding in the Punny Buns 2 Kickstarter and are super close to 40% funded on Peanut Bunny. I know some are afraid that we won't make goal on this one, but I'm not giving up on Peanut Bunny!!There are often surges in the last 48 hours of a project as reminders go out from Kickstarter for those that set one.In the first day alone on this one, we raised over $5,000 in 24 hours! That would be MORE than enough to put Peanut Bunny at 100%.All of my previous, fully funded ones saw a bunch of last minute pledges come in that pushed through the stretch goal designs that were lagging.

FINAL DAYS! Punny Buns Plush Kickstarter

Just a quick note that the Punny Buns Kickstarter is in the final run here. Honey Bun is fully funded and will go into production as soon as funds clear after May 4th. Hamburger Bun is almost there, close to 80% funded and I'm really hoping that one will also fund by the end.
